Estates Support Service forms

  • Defect Reports
    Request for a repair Request for a repair
    To report to the Estates Office that something needs to be repaired using the on line report form. For Urgent and High priority issues continue to dial extension 7171. Anything relating to the fire integrity of a building should be regarded as Medium or high priority.
    Anything posing an immediate danger should be regarded as High priority and also reported to the University Safety Office (e.g. see Fire Defect form above).

Autoclave test records

  • These records are required to be kept at School level in any suitable format. This is usually done by keeping the autoclaive printout from automated systems or using a logbook held at the autoclaive for non automated systems.

Fieldtrip and Road Safety

  • The University Insurance websiote have additional forms relating to insurance issues for field trips. The site page to use is the University Insurance Guidance. This guide includes forms on the following matters:
    • Insurance for UK and foreign travle
    • Minibuses (getting and using small bus permits and driver license issues)
    • Vehicle hire (via the University schemes)
    • Driver registration (and inslusion under University insurance for driving on University business)
  • The field trip still requires a general risk assessment using the normal in house arrangements for your School - and using normal University Risk Assessment forms.
